On Friday’s “Late Show”, host Stephen Colbert once again welcomed Melania Trump (played, as always, by Laura Benanti) to address the rumour that she travels with a body double.

“It makes no sense,” explained the faux First Lady. “How can there be two Melania Trumps? Think about it. Doesn’t it seem crazy there is even one?”

Tough to argue with that logic, but when Colbert asked a question about her husband’s opposition to chain migration — which is how her parents were able to become U.S. citizens — she cut the interview short and accused him of “bullying.”

Suddenly, she returned — with this Melania played by “The Good Fight” star Christine Baranski, who likewise insisted there is only one Melania.

“Why would anyone impersonate Melania Trump, especially after someone else really made that role her own?” Baranski-as-Melania joked. “It would take some kind of two-time Tony award-winning actor to pay that off,” she added before showing off her pair of Tonys.

You can catch more of Christine Baranski on the third season of “The Good Fight”, airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on W Network.
