Things are getting dark for Jaime King.
In the new trailer for the upcoming Netflix series, “Black Summer”, King stars as Rose, a mother fighting off zombies in a post-apocalyptic world to bring home her daughter.

In Rose’s harrowing search, she joins forces with other survivors, who are also searching for their loved ones, making hard decisions to defeat the zombies.
King shared a teaser of the new show on Instagram:

“Black Summer” is a prequel series to the Syfy show “Z Nation”. The upcoming series also comes from “Z Nation” producer John Hyams.
The first season premieres on Netflix on April 11.
