Drake Cancels Amsterdam Tour Date And Furious Fans Spark Twitter Backlash

Drake is rescheduling his upcoming concert in Amsterdam, and fans who had made non-refundable travel arrangements are taking to social media to express their sadness — and, in come cases, fury — that the Toronto rapper won’t be showing up.

According to the website of the venue, Amsterdam’s 17,000-seat Ziggo Dome, the “God’s Plan” rapper has cancelled his April 23 show, and is rescheduling additional shows that were to be held on April 25 and 26 to earlier in the month; those shows will now take place on April 15 and 16.

As for the reason behind the scheduling shakeup, Billboard reports that the only information so far has been vague, referencing “changes in the tour schedule.”

For out-of-town fans who had made travel plans to see Drake in the Dutch capital, the news has understandably caused chaos, and those affected have not been shy about taking to Twitter to share their feelings:
