The 67-year-old actor is starring in season 2 of History’s “Knightfall”, the historical drama about the Knights Templar, and he went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to talk all about it.

Hamill revealed that the beard he has in the show was actually a fake beard glued on top of his actual beard, which he wasn’t able to shave.

“I had to keep the beard for something else,” Hamill said. “Well it’s NDA, that’s ‘non-disclosure agreement’. Don’t quote me.”

“So you were shooting simultaneously?” Kimmel asked, to which Hamill only replied, “Possibly.”

“And we know then maybe that Luke Skywalker has a beard still and has a body still in the next movie?” Kimmel pressed on.

“Which movie?” Hamill joked.
