Will Ferrell and his rock doppelganger, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith are at it again.
Having already showcased their drum duel on “The Tonight Show”; Ferrell and Smith teamed up this time to host “Will Ferrell & Chad Smith’s Red Hot Benefit, Comedy + Music & Quinceanera”;.
The pair put aside their differences, splitting the benefits from the event between two charities of their choice – Cancer for College and Silverlake Conservatory of Music. But in keeping with their sorted relationship, the event boasted a drum battle, with a couple of surprise guests.

Instead of drumming themselves, Ferrell and Smith called upon teammates to tend to their kits for the crowd. Artists like Tommy Lee, the Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins and Stewart Copeland from The Police tore the house down.
