“I’m glad we’re going out with a bang. I hate saying that but it’s kinda true,” Kaley Cuoco says of the ending of her hit show “The Big Bang Theory”.
“We wanted to go out on top,” she added while talking to E! about the finale and her new YouTube series “The Great Travel Hack”.
For the past 12 seasons, the show has been shot in front of a live studio audience but for the finale, they will pre-shoot and then have an audience taping.
“That was probably because they knew I’d be crying the entire time,” Cuoco said. “I guarantee you it’s going to happen.”
As for souvenirs from the set, Cuoco has her eyes on the two robot pictures in the living room. “It is ‘do or die’ if you can get something off that set. There are riots,” she teased.
The Batman cookie jar “might be going to the Smithsonian,” which Cuoco swears she isn’t making up. Lots of the cast and crew are trying to nab books, art, and the desk but the actress has her head in the right place. “I want the alcohol in the fridge, because who’s gonna drink that?” she notes.
The final episode of “The Big Bang Theory” will be an hour special and air on May 16.
