The latest episode of Apple TV’s “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” crosses the pond for a special London edition featuring “Rocketman” stars Taron Egerton and Richard Madden.
As you’d expect, Egerton (who plays rocker Elton John in the upcoming biopic) and Madden (his lover/manager John Reid) put their unique spin on a few of the iconic rocker’s hits, including “Rocketman” and “Benny and the Jets”, along with some other favourites, including Robert Palmer’s “Addicted to Love”.
The duo also take viewers on a mini-tour of London, goofing around in one of the city’s famous red telephone booths, visiting a tourist gift shop and trying to get a Buckingham Palace guard to crack a smile by doing some rude things to him.

Naturally, there’s also some talk of “Rocketman”. “We kissed a lot in this film,” Egerton tells his co-star, before leaning in for an almost-smooch, followed by a surprise dance break, and then a shot of Egerton entering the car in his full Elton John 1970s concert regalia.
