Luke Combs, LANCO and Ashley McBryde just got the best surprise from country music royalty.
With the Academy of Country Music Awards around the corner, the three artists are already winners — especially after getting the exciting news from Carrie Underwood.

Combs, LANCO, and McBryde — nominees in the Best New Artist categories (male, group and female) — all won their respective categories and Underwood, a 14-time ACM Award winner, called each artist to celebrate their wins over the phone.
And to say they were shocked is an understatement.

Not only are they already winners, Combs, LANCO and McBryde are also up for Male Artist of the Year, Group of the Year and Female Artist of the Year, respectively.
The ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7.
