A video on Twitter generated 30,000-plus views and left many a Cole fan wondering, who would punch J. Cole? The video in question shows a man, who looks a lot like the “Middle Child” rapper, getting into a verbal altercation with another man.

Suddenly, the aggressor threw an uppercut at the tall, lanky, dreadlocked man. Many believed it was Cole getting assaulted, but his manager Ibrahim H. threw cold water on those rumours.

“Bro that’s not Cole. I’m assuming the original post was suppose to be a joke,” H. insisted. The manager later tweeted, “Man y’all gotta stop hitting my mentions about this video of that Cole look-alike getting punched. I can’t front though I had to do a double take too when I first saw it… Cole stays with look-alikes all across the world.”
