When it comes to religion, Tom Cruise’s eldest daughter takes after her dad.
As People reports, Cruise’s adopted daughter with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, Bella Cruise, is an ardent Scientologist, and recently extolled the virtues of the controversial religion in a testimonial letter sent to church members.
In her testimonial, which was published online by Scientology critic Tony Ortega, the “Mission: Impossible” star’s 26-year-old daughter discusses training to become a Scientology auditor.
“It turned out it was exactly what I needed,” she wrote, adding, “We all need to do this. It’s hard work. It’s a lot of effort. It’s a few meltdowns and running to the bathroom to have a mini episode, but it is worth everything because you will get through.”
She also thanked her father, as well as her dad’s sister, Cass Mapother. “Thank you to my Dad for everything. To Cass… I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to sup [sic] me or get me through the preliminaries… It took a whole family and org to get me here.”
