Lauren Conrad is getting into the podcast game.
“The Hills” alum will be the star of premium podcast company Cadence13’s new series “Lauren Conrad: Asking for a Friend”.
“I could not be more excited to launch my first podcast with Cadence13 and to start a weekly conversation that I hope will inspire and empower,” Conrad said in a statement obtained by ET Canada. “I’m calling the show ‘Lauren Conrad: Asking for a Friend’ so that I can share the best advice and what I’ve learned—and am still learning—about life with friends and listeners everywhere.”
“Lauren Conrad makes her mark in every arena she enters, and we are thrilled to bring her first-ever podcast to the world,” said Cadence13’s CCO Chris Corcoran. “Lauren’s savvy instincts, eye for the top trends in lifestyle, business, parenting, entertaining, style and more, along with her own life experience, will make this show rewarding and special for fans and listeners everywhere.”
Conrad is one of the few alums of “The Hills” not returning for MTV’s new spinoff “The Hills: New Beginnings”.
The first season of “Lauren Conrad: Asking for a Friend”, which consists of 12 episodes, premieres May 8. You can listen to it on Apple Podcasts and wherever else you ingest your podcast goodness.
