Get ready to revisit one of the ’90s’ greatest teen films. “Cruel Intentions”; is getting a second life as a TV series.
The 1999 thriller, about two spoiled teens (Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar) who make it a mission to de-flower their headmaster’s virginal daughter (Reese Witherspoon), is picking things up 17 years later in a new series.
Actor Taylor John Smith has been cast as Bash, the son of Gellar and Phllippe’s characters. “It’s like winning the lottery,”; the actor tells ET Canada about being cast in the role.
He also admits to having a little bit of a crush on co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar, who reprises her role as Karthyrn Mertueil. “I think I have a crush on her more so than when she came out in “Scooby-Doo’,”; he reveals.
