Zac Efron is even cooler than fans thought — and that’s meant literally!
That’s because the “Greatest Showman” star shared a pair of videos on his Instagram Stories, reports the Daily Mail, in which the shirtless star is clowning around in a sub-zero cryotherapy chamber, wearing just a pair of shorts, mittens and a face mask to protect his extremities from the frigid temperature of -200 degress Fahrenheit.
At one point, he even dances around singing, appropriately enough, Vanilla Ice’s 1990 hit “Ice Ice Baby”, in addition to miming paddling a canoe at one point.
According to the Mail, the 31-year-old actor has been utilizing cryotherapy in order to speed his recovery after surgery to repair a torn ACL he suffered while skiing in February.
This isn’t the first time that Efron has dabbled in cryotherapy, a controversial technique that’s purported (but not proven) to decrease muscle pain, aid weight loss and even slow down the physical effects of aging. Check out this video he shared on Instagram Stories back in 2017:
