Liza Koshy is one of YouTube’s most popular personalities, with her YouTube channel counting more than 16 million followers and her videos racking up millions of views.
Yet the 22-year-old has been absent from her channel for some time after she decided to take a lengthy hiatus — until Wednesday, when she unveiled her first video in a year.
Titled “Dollar Store”, Koshy cavorts through a dollar store while singing a song about dollar stores, set to the tune of the Frank Sinatra classic “New York, New York” — culminating with a Rockettes-style dance number in the parking lot.
“Thank you for watching, thank you for waiting,” she wrote on her YouTube page. “Honey… I’m home.”
Two months ago, Koshy explained why she decided to take break in a video she posted on her second YouTube channel, opening up about her struggles with mental health issues and creative burnout.
