HBO has released the first trailer for the miniseries “Chernobyl”.
“A just world is a sane world. There was nothing sane about Chernobyl,” a voiceover states as the trailer starts.

The five-episode miniseries stars Stellan Skarsgard as the Soviet deputy prime minister, as well as Jared Harris (“Mad Men”) and Oscar-nominated Emily Watson as nuclear physicists.
The dramatic “never-told-before true story” is based on the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in which an explosion at the power plant in the Soviet Union released radioactive materials. It still stands as the deadliest nuclear power plant accident ever.
