Matthew McConaughey is getting strangers high… sort of.
The star appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday to promote his new film “The Beach Bum”, and he decided to participate in a segment of “High Witness News”.
For the bit, McConaughey went out on the streets of LA in-character as his pothead character Moondog from the film to give people food items he falsely said were infused with marijuana.
That didn’t stop people from claiming to be high, of course.

“That’s crazy,” said one woman after taking a bite from a hot dog, adding that she felting “tingly.”
Another woman said that her legs felt like gummy bears.
