Oh, the internet! It can bring us so many weird and unexpected things. Like the feud between Jim Carrey and the Alessandra Mussolini, the granddaughter of Benito Mussolini.
Carrey recently shared one of his famous illustrations, this one of the Italian dictator and one of his mistresses, Clara Petacci, being executed in 1945.
“If you’re wondering what fascism leads to, just ask Benito Mussolini and his mistress Claretta,” the Canadian actor captioned the photo.
“You are a b**tard,” Mussolini, who has gone into politics like her grandfather as a member of the European Parliament, replied.
She continued her one-sided feud with Carrey, who has yet to reply.
With Carrey not responding, she turned to Donald Trump for support. “President @realDonaldTrump doesn’t have to worry about poor @JimCarrey politica attacks; his drawings are only dirty paper.”
Mussolini also had to deal with everyone else on Twitter pointing out that Carrey is not American.
