Emilia Clarke spoke about suffering two brain aneurysms during an appearance on Tuesday’s “Late Show”.
The 32-year-old recently revealed her health struggles in a candid piece for The New Yorker, before she was then questioned further by Stephen Colbert.
Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in “Game of Thrones”, said when asked whether she knew what was happening to her at the time: “Oh, you know. You absolutely know.
“I tried to keep active as possible. I moved my fingers, my toes and hands. Asked myself questions. I really tried to force my memory to work as much as I could to stay conscious.”
The actress, who suffered the aneurysms while filming “GoT”, continued, “The mind is an extraordinary thing. I just knew, I just knew… not today.
“For the rest of your life, you know how lucky you are.”
Clarke’s interview also saw her reveal how she shared the mega-secret ending to the eighth and final season of “GoT” with her mom.
“I’ve got to be honest, I did… I wasn’t supposed to, soz lads, I told my mum.
“The good thing about telling my mum these things is that she’s a vault. Because she’s just done forgotten it.”
