Kevin Hart has all markets and ages covered.
The comedian appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wednesday night to talk about his “Irresponsible” Netflix standup special, after appearing at CinemaCon earlier in the day to show off the new animated “Secret Life of Pets 2” movie.

Asked by Kimmel about his new special, Hart joked, “This is not for ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ crowd.”
He added, “It’s a little raunchy. I would definitely say, rated R plus R.”
Kimmel also asked about the raunchy private material Hart shares in his special, wondering whether he runs that stuff by his wife first.
“I don’t say a damn thing. I just do it. She finds out when she comes to the comedy show,” Hart said. “That was a tough situation in the household.”

In the end, though, Hart said the key to his comedy is sticking to what’s real.
“Honesty and authenticity is what people respond to. You want to laugh at what you can relate to and what you believe,” he explained. “Nothing is malicious. It’s all done from my point of view. So it’s the way I see myself in certain situations.”
