The series is looking for 11 to 14-year-old girls for the show which is being adapted by “Breaking Bad”; writer Moira Walley-Beckett. Of the exciting casting process, Walley-Beckett stated, “I’m very excited about this search! I’m looking for an Anne who is contemporary: smart, quirky, fierce and spirited, but also insecure and wildly emotional. Anne is mercurial and complicated. I can’t wait to fall in love with an auditioning actress and say “that’s my Anne!”;

“The Anne Search”; will be held in Toronto, Vancouver, Charlottetown and Halifax this month and is open to professional child actors and non-actors alike.

Auditions will take place this Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, at the Milestone Casting Studio in Toronto.  Doors open at 9:30am.  Wannabe Annes can simply show up to audition!
