Sandra Oh may be a huge actress but even she gets starstruck.
Oh appeared on Thursday’s “Late Show”, where Stephen Colbert asked whether she’d ever freaked out after meeting one of her heroes.
The “Killing Eve” actress replied, “Oh, absolutely, absolutely!”
She then recalled how she’d bumped into Yoko Ono at LAX while heading into the lounge.
Oh explained, “I sit down and I look up and it’s Yoko Ono.”
Oh had asked Ono’s assistant whether it would be okay to say hello: “I didn’t know I could bow so low, I could bow so low and say, ‘Hello, Yoko. It’s so nice to meet you.’
“And then I was able to ask her before actually just posing in that photograph, I’m like, ‘Would that be all right?’ And she said ‘Okay.’
“And I burst out crying. Burst out crying. I mean, not that much of a surprise.”
Oh also talked about hosting the Golden Globes and “Saturday Night Live” for the first time.
