Kate Hudson had a lot to talk about when she dropped by “Good Morning America” on Friday, discussing being a new mom and her impending 40th birthday.

“I’m like a last minute kind of Aries girl… it’ll happen. It’ll be a blowout,” she told “GMA” host Michael Strahan of her birthday plans.

“At this point, I just want to tell everybody, ‘Hey, I’m gonna have a party,’ and then everybody shows up,” Hudson added of her low-key party plans.

However, after she and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa welcomed daughter Rani Rose 6 months ago, Hudson admitted she’s ready for a chance to cut loose.

“I personally, with having a baby, feel like I deserve a really good hangover,” she joked. “I’ve been so good, I’ve been so busy. I’ve been breastfeeding like crazy and I just want some martinis. I want to sleep in. [That’d be] really nice.”

As Hudson explained, being the mother of an infant along with older children (her son Ryder, whom she shares with former Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, is 15, and son Bingham, shared with ex-fiance Matt Bellamy, is 12) is “starting to feel different” to her.

“Seeing the boys with [Rani]… I feel like I tear up every day,” she admitted. “To see [Ryder] with his sister and to be a real helper and for me to be able to walk away and go, ‘Hey, honey, can you just take the baby? And I turn around and I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’”

She added: “I’ve been having babies a long time, let’s put it that way. But it’s good. Everyone’s so happy and I feel, right now… even though it’s chaotic, the energy is calm and loving and peaceful right now and I’m just in a great place.”
