John Oliver’s much-talked-about parody book A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo was one of the most-challenged books of 2018, it’s been revealed.
The talk-show host took a swipe at Mike Pence with the release, with the book being about the American politician’s family pet rabbit discovering he’s gay and falling in love with another male rabbit.
Oliver has made it very clear he’s not a huge fan of Pence and his extreme views. All of the proceeds of the book went to AIDS charities and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth.

The title, which was released March 2018, came second on the list compiled by the American Library Association (ALA), with Alex Gino’s book George, about a 10-year-old transgender girl, being the year’s most-challenged title.
Marlon Bundo was written by “Last Week Tonight” staff writer Jill Twiss.
A description of the book on Amazon reads, “Meet Marlon Bundo, a lonely bunny who lives with his Grampa, Mike Pence – the Vice-President of the United States. But on this Very Special Day, Marlon’s life is about to change forever…”
