Ellen DeGeneres has creative ways of getting her hands on spoilers ahead of the “Game of Thrones” season-8 premiere.

“GoT” star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau drops by Tuesday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to try and not spill any of the show’s juicy details.

The devious DeGeneres offers Coster-Waldau two T-shirts. One reads, “I died on ‘Game of Thrones’ and all I got was this lousy T-shirt” and the other reads, “I survived all 8 seasons on ‘Game of Thrones’ and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”

Coster-Waldau, 48, cleverly takes both shirts and promises DeGeneres he would wear one of them following the conclusion of the upcoming season.

There have been a lot of “GoT” seasons so one could be forgiven for being cloudy on what’s happened so far. Fortunately, Coster-Waldau offers this 30-second breakdown. “OK, that’s easy. There’s a boy who’s lost his way in life,’ Coster-Waldau said, referring to young Bran Stark. “He needs help and this guy, Jaime Lannister, helps him.

“He pushes him out of a window, he falls to the ground, he realizes, I have to do something with life… He becomes the Three-Eyed Raven, this magical creature who can foresee the future, look back, and help save the world, and all because of Jaime Lannister, this great guy,” the actor continues. “Some other stuff happens as well.”

DeGeneres makes sure to note: “That’s amazing how you see yourself, and you fall in love with your sister.”

Coster-Waldau also touches on his recent trip with the United Nations to Rwanda, a part of the world not immune to “GoT” fever: “That was the thing. I didn’t expect them to see ‘Game of Thrones’, but yes, everyone loved the show and was excited for the new season,” he said.

The eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones” premieres April 14.
