Revealing that he’s always had a love of Canada, Taylor said that turning the upcoming June 7 and June 8 shows (in Edmonton and Calgary, respectively) into benefit concerts seemed like the right thing to do.

During the Ottawa show last night, in fact, Taylor dedicated his classic “Fire and Rain”; to victims of the Fort McMurray fires. “I’m thinking of the people displaced by fire tonight,” he told the crowd.
