It’s been 20 years since the release of the Backstreet Boys’ seminal hit single “I Want it That Way”.

On Friday, the boy band shared a the Millennium 20 Edition of the song’s iconic music video, featuring new pop-up video-style facts about the song and quotes from the band members.
20 years of “I Want It That Way” have really flown by! Thank you all for your support since the release in 1999. It really means the world to us and we released a little special edition of the video for its anniversary.

“After filming the video, everyone thoughts we had our own airplane,” Nick Carter remembers. “We’ve always flown commercial!”

The new edition of the “I Want it That Way” video also had fans on Twitter very nostalgic.
