BTS Make Their ‘SNL’ Debut, First-Ever K-Pop Group To Perform On The Show

Amidst all the screaming fans packed into Rockefeller Center’s Studio 8H on Saturday to watch BTS make their “Saturday Night Live” debut, the seven-member K-pop group also made history.

Performing their hits “Boy With Luv” and “Mic Drop”, BTS is the first-ever K-pop group to perform on “SNL”, dazzling the audience with their signature choreography.

Prior to their two performances, “SNL” host Emma Stone joked about the excited fans who packed the audience when she “tested the sound levels” by announcing BTS was in the building.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” this week, Stone joked that even she’s been screaming for BTS.

“I just saw their soundcheck today and I involuntarily screamed,” she said. “I’m actually not kidding. It came out of my body. It was like, ‘Ahhh!’ It was like a chemical reaction that happens. They’re incredible.”

“Saturday Night Live” airs Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET, 8:30 p.m. PT on Global. You can also watch online.
