Weezer made a triumphant return to Coachella after a 14-year absence, and surprised the crowd with a few special guests.

Hot off the release of the band’s all-covers release (dubbed “The Teal Album”), frontman Rivers Cuomo and the band brought some of those covers to life, inviting the songs’ original artists to help out.

First up was TLC’s Chilli (real name: Rozonda Thomas), who lent her unmistakable vocals to Weezer’s cover of “No Scrubs”.

For Weezer’s cover of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”, the band welcomed Tears for Fears duo Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith.

In addition, the band also delivered rousing renditions of such tracks as “Buddy Holly,” Toto’s “Africa”, “Say It Ain’t So” and “Island in the Sun”.

However, Weezer took a sillier route for their hit “Beverly Hills” by performing it as a barbershop quartet. Watch:
