The creator of “Suits” is bringing a new legal drama to W Network.

“Pearson” stars Gina Torres as former “Suits” character Jessica Pearson, a recently disbarred New York City lawyer who delves into the ugly world of Chicago politics when she’s appointed fixer for Chicago Mayor Bobby Novak, played by Morgan Spector.
The series is created and executive-produced by Aaron Korsh, alongside showrunner Daniel Arkin. It also stars Bethany Joy Lenz, Simon Kassianides, Isabel Arraiza, and Canadians Eli Goree and Chantel Riley.

“Pearson”‘s 10-episode first season will premiere this year on W Network.
