Zac Efron is on the mend.
The actor, 31, is recovering from surgery on his knee following an unexpected tear of his ACL while snowboarding.
In a new video posted to his YouTube channel, Efron takes fans through the extensive recovery process with his physiotherapist.
“I can’t wait to walk normal again,” Efron captioned the clip. “Dr. Maman’s got me on the best physical therapy which includes naps and shake weights I guess? Watch to the end to see what I mean.”
At the time of his injury, the “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile” star promised to keep his fans in the loop as he heals.
“I tore my ACL shredding the gnar,” he announced on Instagram back in February. “I opted for surgery so I can come back stronger than ever. Thank you to Dr. Kvitne and his team at Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center. I’ll keep you updated as I heal and progress!”
While Efron didn’t reveal how long until he’ll be completely mobile again, it looks like he’s getting there quickly with the help of Dr. Maman.
