‘Avengers’ Directors Ask Fans Not To Spoil ‘Endgame’ In Open Letter

With the release of “Avengers: Endgame” almost here, the film’s directors have one important request for fans: no spoilers.

On their Twitter account, Joe and Anthony Russo posted an open letter to “the greatest fans in the world.”

In the letter, the Russos wrote that “everyone involved in ‘Endgame’, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga.”

They then added their simple request: “When you see ‘Endgame’ in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you,” adding, “Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.

The letter was posted in the midst of reports that leaked footage from the film had appeared online, threatening to spoil the film for fans before opening day.

“Avengers: Endgame” hits theatres April 26.
