Jessica Chastain Slams ‘Time’ For Putting Brett Kavanaugh On 100 Most Influential List

Jessica Chastain isn’t pleased with one of Time magazine’s choices on its 100 most influential people list.

The magazine revealed the list on Wednesday, with big names like Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama and more.

One name that caught people’s attention was Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who accused U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault when she was in high school.

But Time didn’t stop there – Kavanaugh himself was included on the list of most influential people.

Seeing the justice’s inclusion alongside his accuser, Chastain took to Twitter to call Time out for the decision.

You put her on the same list as the man she said assaulted her.

Chastain wasn’t the only person angered by the Kavanaugh’s placement on the list. Others also tweeted their dismay.

i’m sure Time put both Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Ford on their list with the express intention of upsetting people…. and it worked on me i’m big mad!!!!

Others defended Time‘s assessment of Kavanaugh as “influential,” but still criticized the manner in which they included him.
