Paula Abdul is facing another sad loss in her family.
The singer’s father, Harry Abdul has died at 85, after years fighting Alzheimer’s disease, Us Weekly reported.

Abdul confirmed the sad news in a post on Twitter, remembering him as a man with “a heart of gold.”
My Father was, and always will be, my superhero.

Harry’s passing comes a little more than a year after Abdul’s mother Lorraine Abdul died at the age of 85 in January 2018.
