Gavin DeGraw was at the Bridgestone Arena on Saturday where he was on hand to sing the National Anthem.
The “I Don’t Want To Be” singer performed the National Anthem for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Playoff between the Stars and Predators.
As the local Nashville crooner finished up he took a step backwards and hit the ice hard with his face.
A sports reporter at the game caught the slip and shared in on Twitter. It doesn’t look pretty.
Another angle from the front shows how nasty it was.
DeGraw did turn to Facebook to tease himself. “Someone said, ‘Break a leg’. I listened,” he wrote.
He walked off the ice and raised his arms to let the crowd know he was okay. But it is safe to say he will be feeling that fall later!
