Rihanna takes the cover of Vogue Australia by storm in their May issue.
The singer stuns on the cover in a pink slip dress and not one, but two trench coats. Emerald point booties and chunky earrings complete the look of the icon.
The Fenty Beauty founder was recruited by the Hon. Julia Gillard, the first-ever female Prime Minister of Australia, as an ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education. Gillard in an honorary chairwoman.
The two met at a dinner in New York and have recently visited schools in Malawi as part of the foundation.
“I believe Rihanna sees education as a real enabler,” Gillard told Vogue. “She left school young because she was discovered young, so she’s conscious that she didn’t finish her own schooling.”
“She talked to me about her brothers and how determine she’d been that they finished school, so I think she’s got this very personal sense that individual education really matters.”
Gillard added that they have “an unusual relationship” having come from “very different worlds.”
The May issue of Vogue Australia hits stands on April 29.
