Netflix Debuts First Look The Spike Lee Produced Film ‘See You Yesterday’

Get ready to head back in time with Netflix’s upcoming film, “See You Yesterday”.

Brooklyn teen C.J. Walker and her BFF discover the secret to time travel in the new flick, produced by Spike Lee and directed by Stefon Bristol, a mentee of the “BlacKkKlansman” Oscar winner.

But when C.J.’s older brother is fatally shot by police in the streets, their new discovery becomes their saving grace to bring back her brother.

Bristol received the Spike Lee Production Grant at NYU in 2016 for his short film version of the movie. Lee later agreed to produce the planned full-length feature. Bristol also worked as Lee’s assistant on “BlacKkKlansman”.

“See You Yesterday” will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on May 3 before dropping on Netflix May 17.
