Jennifer Garner is looking back fondly on her rom-com “13 Going On 30”.
Released on April 23, 2004, the movie sees Garner as a 13-year-old girl named Jenna who makes a birthday wish and wakes up as a 30-year-old woman. In the years since its release, it’s won over countless fans, including Ariana Grande, who referenced the movie in her music video, “Thank U, Next”.
Taking to Instagram, Garner, 47, looked back at the film, sharing a selection of videos and stills from the production.

The actress recalls filming with the young cast on set: “I loved my day with this slumber party crew: they danced with abandon and reminded me of the power of just saying yes—to being in a group, to vulnerability, to wearing a bra over your clothes,” she writes, continuing, “Imagine if every 13-year-old girl had an opportunity to dance and feel beautiful like the girls in this film. I am proud of all of you.”
