Chris Evans Invites 5-Year-Old Superfan Battling Cancer To ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Premiere

Chris Evans had a very special guest with him at Monday night’s premiere of “Avengers: Endgame”.

Evans brought along a five-year-old Captain America superfan who has been battling cancer since being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2015.

Felipe Andres Muyshondt, better known as Pipe, lives in El Salvador. Just before going into surgery, Pipe received a sweet video from Evans. “I just read all about you and I just had to let you know that I think you are so strong and so brave, and I am so impressed,” the actor says. “You could definitely, definitely fight with us on the Avengers.”

The only thing sweeter than that message was Pipe’s reaction to the video.

Pipe was able to travel to Los Angeles for the world premiere where he had the chance to meet some of the “Avengers” cast. The young fan got pictures with Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, and Mark Ruffalo, all of which his father proudly shared on Twitter.

“Pipe got to meet other superheroes at the world premiere of ‘Endgame’,” he wrote. “He was so happy, and his smile was as brilliant as always. Thank you from my heart.”
