‘Storage Wars’ Star Barry Weiss Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident

Best known as one of the original stars of “Storage Wars”, Barry Weiss has reportedly been hospitalized after being involved in a nasty motorcycle accident.

According to TMZ, the 68-year-old antique collector was driving his bike with a friend in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon when a car pulled out of a parking spot,  causing Weiss and his friend to slam their bikes into the rear of the vehicle.

Weiss is reportedly suffering from broken bones and unspecified internal injuries, and is currently listed in stable condition. Drugs and alcohol, TMZ adds, were reportedly not a factor in the accident.

TMZ obtained the 911 dispatch call involving the accident:

One of the most popular personalities on the show, Weiss appeared in the first four seasons of A&E’s “Storage Wars” before subsequently starring in his own shortlived spinoff, “Barry’d Treasure”.

In a 2017 interview, Weiss explained his decision to leave “Storage Wars”.

“I had a blast,” he said. “It was fun, but I had enough and I kind of wanted to leave while it was still popular.”
