On Friday, Kobe Bryant is stopping by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to make one mother very happy.
It starts when host Ellen DeGeneres gives a mother of three, Crystal Bradley, the chance to win money as part of the Million Dollar Day partnership with Walmart. The only catch is she has to score a 3-point shot.
DeGeneres then surprises her with her own coach, Kobe Bryant, who helps Bradley win $25,000. Bradley’s husband, watching from the audience, seems a bit jealous his wife gets to shoot hoops with Bryant.
“Keep an arc on it and push it,” is Bryant’s advice to her. Her shot is a bit short, but with a little help from the NBA star, she makes it.
Bryant then talks with DeGeneres about his new book Legacy And The Queen, which uses sports to teach kids life lessons.
The soon-to-be father of four girls jokes that Vanessa, his wife, would still like a boy. Bryant figures, if they have more kids he can “have a solid starting lineup.”
The couple are already parents to Natalia, 15, Gianna, 12, and Bianka, 2.
