Brockhampton rapper Kevin Abstract has just dropped his new solo album ARIZONA BABY, and came up with a unique way to promote the release: by livestreaming himself as he walked on a treadmill for 10 consecutive hours.
According to a report from KRIS News in Corpus Christi, Texas, the livestream began shortly after noon on Friday on Brockhampton Street, with the 22-year-old Abstract setting up a camera and a treadmill before he began walking.
A crowd eventually gathered, with Abstract answering questions and even signing things for fans, some of whom brought him food and water.

Occasionally, Abstract would take a brief break and enlist one of the people gathered there to walk for him.
The stream, which was available to view on YouTube, concluded with nearly 12,000 people watching, while the crowd had swelled to hundreds.
“After he took his final steps, he immediately collapsed onto the grass smiling in pain and accomplishment,” reports KRIS.
If you have 10 hours to spare, you can watch a playback of the livestream in its entirety.
Following Abstract’s 10-hour walk, fans took to Twitter to celebrate his achievement.
