Daniel Craig Insists A Woman Could Replace Him As James Bond: ‘Everybody Should Be Considered’

Daniel Craig will bid farewell to the “007” franchise after playing James Bond for a fifth and final time in the upcoming “Bond 25” movie.

After 13 years of playing the iconic spy, the British star told the Mirror a woman could replace him after he hangs up his Walther PPK: “I think that ­everybody should be ­considered. Also for women and for African-Americans, there should be great parts anyway, across the board.”

Returning for the next instalment are Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, and Ralph Fiennes as M.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has also been taken on as a writer.

Craig’s comments come as it was revealed Rami Malek would be joining the cast as a villain during a live announcement from Jamaica Thursday.

“Bond 25” will be released in 2020.
