Leonardo DiCaprio’s former girlfriend has filed for bankruptcy.
Former Victoria’s Secret angel Erin Heatherton, 30, who dated the Oscar-winning actor from 2011 to 2012, is reportedly over half a million dollars in debt, according to court documents obtained by The Blast. Heatherton filed for Chapter 7 earlier this year, listing US$6,464.57 in assets and $560,242.13 in liabilities.
Heatherton claims she makes $1,089.91 a month, with $221 of that coming from family and friends. The Blast reports she has $919 in her chequing account and her monthly living expenses total just over $1,000. The outlet reports the former model owes $215,601.49 over three credit cards she took out in 2010 and another $201,000 for a separate line of credit at the bank.

She is also on the hook for over $41,000 in back taxes to the state of New York.
But Heatherton’s money woes don’t stop there: She’s also indebted to a former business partner and personal stylist for $100,000 after she sued her for $10 million over a 2015 failed sportswear collection collaboration that never got off the ground. Clare Byrne claims the model abandoned the project “without warning or justification.”
In the bankruptcy documents, Heatherton lists her assets as $750 in electronics, a $995 vintage Japanese jacket, and $500 in additional clothing. She also possesses a $945 diamond necklace designed by Jennifer Meyer, the ex-wife of Tobey Maguire.

Last year, she sold her Manhattan apartment for $2.68 million after being sued by her neighbours for “unreasonable levels of noise,” according to Women’s Wear Daily.
