Being a working mom is not easy – not even for country superstar Carrie Underwood.

The “Love Wins” singer, 36, recently welcomed her second son, Jacob Bryan Fisher, with former NHL hockey player Mike Fisher and gets real about motherhood with Natalie Morales on NBC’s “Today” show on Wednesday.

Ahead of her 55-city “Cry Pretty” tour, Underwood discusses juggling her nightly shows along with being a mom to Jacob Bryan, 3 months, and Isaiah Michael, 4, who will be joining her on the road.

“Everything that we all do is just as difficult but in different ways,” said Underwood, who addresses finding the balance after Morales said she is setting the bar “way high” for working moms.

Like any working mom would be, Underwood admits she’s “tired” but is so grateful her family will be there every step of the way: “How many people get to take their children to work with them?” she musingly asks Morales.

From suffering three miscarriages, to revealing it’s been harder to “bounce back” after baby No. 2, the 36-year-old singer does not shy away from voicing her personal struggles surrounding motherhood.

“I’ve definitely had people come up to me on the street and just cry and just say, ‘It’s nice to know that somebody knows what it feels like.'”

“I feel like moms put a lot of pressure on themselves to have it all together and know everything and plan for everything and it’s impossible,” added the “Cry Pretty” singer.

When asked about baby No. 3, Underwood is learning to live in the moment: “If there’s anything the past couple of years have taught me is that you don’t know what’s gonna happen next.”

“There’s no way you can plan for everything or make everything be the way you want it. So it’s been good for me to just kind of be present, and live in the moment, and stop trying so hard to plan out the entire rest of my life.”

And when she’s not busy being a mother of two, Carrie Underwood is all about lifting women up in country music.

The singer opens up about touring with an all-female crew including Maddie and Tae and Runaway June, who will open for her arena tour that kicks off May 1 in North Carolina.

“I feel like it’s been a really great time for women to kind of come together and just be like, ‘Let’s support each other. We’re all in this together. Let’s be all in this together.'”

Underwood will bring her “Cry Pretty Tour 360” to the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on June 9.
