Remy Ma is once again in trouble with the law after being accused of punching one of her “Love & Hip Hop” co-stars in the face.

The 38-year-old American rapper/reality-star turned herself into the New York Police Department on Wednesday where she was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment, according to USA Today.

Ma, who was later released on $1,500 bail, is alleged to have punched her “Love & Hip Hop: New York” co-star Brittney Taylor in the face while attending a benefit concert in downtown Manhattan in April.

Her lawyer, Dawn Florio, denied the accusations, saying that Ma was at home nursing her 4-month-old daughter during the time of the alleged attack. “She’s going to fight this to the end,” Florio told the associated press.

Ma herself did not comment on the case, but was seen leaving court with her husband, the rapper Papoose. She also received backing from hip hop veteran Fat Joe, who appeared in court to offer her his support.

The rapper is currently on probation after serving a six-year prison sentence for assault, illegal weapon possession and attempted coercion after a shooting outside a Manhattan nightclub in 2007. She was released in 2014.

Ma is due back in court May 24.
