George Clooney won’t be riding a motorcycle anytime soon.
The 57-year-old was involved in a scary scooter accident while filming his new show “Catch-22” in Italy last July. He was rushed to the hospital, but escaped serious injury after his bike collided with a car.
While promoting the comedy series, Clooney explained how his wife Amal has now forbidden him from getting on any motorcycles in the near future.
According to People, the actor said: “I’m not allowed to ride motorcycles. I got into a really bad accident. I hit a guy at 70 miles an hour on my bike. Got launched.”
Clooney also said fellow producer Grant Heslov had also been banned.

The star continued, “And so that’s, I’m off of bikes. Grant’s off. We screwed up and our wives were like, ‘You can never get on a bike again.'”
Clooney, who plays Scheisskopf in the show, was discharged from the hospital on the same day as the accident.
His rep previously told ET: “George was treated and released from an Olbia hospital. He is recovering at home and will be fine.”
