Justin Bieber is out defending Chris Brown.
The “Sorry” singer took to Instagram to compare Brown to Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur.
“Everyone wants to wait til people die to give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB [Chris Brown] passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time,” the Biebs wrote.
“Trust me,” he added. “The people who have overlooked this man’s talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you.”

Brown has a history of domestic violence, including being arrested for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rhianna.
Comments on Bieber’s post were mixed, with some supporting his statement, like J Balvin, Nick Cannon, Sean Kingston and Marlon Wayans, where others condemned the words.
“I’ve loved u since I was a KID kid Justin but there is NO justification for beating someone to near death… I’m sorry but it’s true,” wrote one user.
Another person wrote, “Most of your fans are girls/women and we are scared to death of men like CB. And to see someone like you stepping up to praise him is very disappointing…It’s really dangerous to praise him regardless of how talented you genuinely think he is. It wasn’t just “one mistake”. It’s just so much more than that.”
Brown also responded to Bieber where he called him “a King.”
“Thank you for believing in me. Your star shines so bright and your heart is unmatched,” the comment read.
The backlash at his statement grew so much that Bieber addressed the bullying on his Instagram stories. “Bullying is not okay! Ever,” he wrote. “It is actually killing people, young people.”
TMZ caught up with The Game where they asked his opinion of the whole ordeal. He agreed that Brown is a mix of MJ and Tupac, although he wouldn’t go as far as to side with Bieber.
“I think that Chris Brown, when I watch him perform and I hear him sing, man, he reminds me a lot of MJ,” he said. “Brown be out here thugging, so he got a little Tupac in him.”
He then adds on a message for anyone who is avoiding working with Brown because of his past. “If you don’t want to work with Chris Brown, man, f**k you.”
Recently, Chvrches slammed Marshmello for working with Brown.
“We like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behaviour. That is not something we can or will stand behind,” a statement read from the band.
Brown did not respond well, calling the group a “bunch of losers” and ending his rant with “goodday peasants.”
Chvrches frontperson Lauren Mayberry even opened up about the death threats she received from Brown fans over the post.
Brown will be releasing a new album soon that includes collabs with Nicki Minaj, Tyga, HER, Drake and Bieber.
