Louis C.K. is trying to make sure people don’t leak material from his stand-up performances without his express “consent,” but that isn’t going over well with some people online.

Over the weekend, a Twitter user posted a copyright notice from the comedian’s upcoming show in Minneapolis.

In 2017, allegations emerged that C.K. had masturbated in front of several female comedians without their consent.

The irony was clearly not lost on many, with many including “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi joking about C.K. requiring his “consent” to share his stand-up material.

C.K. did receive some support, though, specifically for the importance of copyright enforcement.
