Chance the Rapper helped bring back a popular Wendy’s menu item.

The rapper, 26, tweeted out his love for the fast food chain’s spicy chicken nuggets and Wendy’s responded.

“Positive Affirmations for today,” Chance wrote Saturday. “I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today.”

After taking notice of Chance’s tweet, Wendy’s gave its fans a proposition. “Y’all keep asking, so here’s your chance,” they wrote. “The people in charge say if you guys can get our tweet (this one right here) to two Million likes, they will bring SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS BACK. Let’s freakin’ do this!”

And by Sunday, the tweet surpassed the 2 million mark.

“THIS IS NOT A DRILL,” Wendy’s announced. “Spicy Chicken Nuggets are coming back! Y’all are crazy! That took like a day and a half! WHAT?! We don’t know when yet, got to figure it out, but soon, and okay, LOSING IT RIGHT NOW THIS IS AMAZING!”

And in honour of his “postivie affirmations” coming true, Chance announced new music.

Not everyone was happy about the rapper’s support for the fast food chain however, with Alyssa Milano tweeting at Chance the Rapper and Wendy’s over the weekend. The actress voiced concern over Wendy’s “refusing to protect farmworker women from sexual assault” in the fields. She continued, “Instead of spicy nuggets, we want food that is harvested with dignity NOT violence.”
