The Fox network has released its lineup for the upcoming 2016-’17 TV season, and viewers will notice a lot of familiar titles on the schedule.
Among the new familiar-but-new programming coming our way is: “24: Legacy”;, a Jack Bauer-less reboot starring Corey Hawkins as a rookie CTU agent; a limited-run reboot of “Prison Break”;, with Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and the original cast reprising their roles; “Orange Is the New Black”; star Laverne Cox heading up a revival of cult musical “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”;; and TV adaptations of feature films “Lethal Weapon”; and “The Exorcist”;.

Other series include: “Star”;, a new musical series from “Empire”; creator Lee Daniels; “Son of Zorn”;, a blend of live action and animation starring Jason Sudeikis and Cheryl Hines; and “The Mick”;, starring Kaitlyn Olsen (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelpia”;) as a two-bit hustler unexpectedly entrusted with the guardianship of her sister’s children; the time-travel comedy “Making History”;; and “Kicking and Screaming”;, a new reality competition hosted by “New Girl”; star Hannah Simone.
